I'm a 37 year old actor, based in London. I studied for 3 years at the Guildford School of Acting & Dance (now the Guildford Conservatoire) Since then I have taught speech & drama and directed drama workshops in schools and theatres, played numerous roles on TV,in theatre across the UK and America, plus some radio work and modelling.......... I left Drama school in 1992,going straight into a tour of the musical 'La Cages Aux Folles' Later that year I became the Artistic Director of the Axiom Arts Centre in Cheltenham,where I launched two fringe festivals and booked myself as one of the theatre shows,as I was touring a one-man show playing Austrlian composer Percy Grainger in 'Really Beautiful Company!'.............I then moved to London,since which time much of my work has been onstage,working all over the UK in pretty much everything from West End productions such as 'The Merry Widow' (Shaftesbury Theatre,London) to modern classics like 'Therese Raquin' (White Bear Theatre,London) Numerous pantomimes & rep across the UK & co-devised original comedy at Edinburgh Fringe Festival (Gilded Balloon) I have also toured the States (being based in Los Angeles) playing the fop Petulant in the Restoration comedy 'The Way of the World'. On TV I have appeared in numerous dramas and series over the last 15 years. In the past few years I have worked with directors such as the late Stephen Pimlott, Phyllida Lloyd, Peter Sellars, Calixto Bieto, Jonathon Miller,Robert Carsen and Graham Vick in the theatre, and most recently with Mark Bussell and Justin Sbresni on TV............In 2007 I acted onstage under the direction of Richard Jones,in Russian classic 'Lady Macbeth of Mtensk' in the West End,London. Now in 2008, I have just completed a run in Patrice Maurier & Moshe Leisiers' West End revival production of comedy 'La Cenerentola' in London. I performed the other 4 previous revivals of this production, playing a high society Countess, among other roles!! I also continue to work successfully as a commercial model...................Despite being in the business for some time now,I'm looking for lots more of the same; interesting work,challenges and particularly good writing to work with!
