Came back to SA and worked in the Restaurant Industry for a while and then moved to the big metropolis of Johannesburg to work for the Sandton Hilton as a HR/Training Coordinator. Left the Hilton to work aboard the Anastasis Mercy Ship (Youth with a Mission) and completed my DTS (Discipleship Training School) onboard. The ship was based in The Gambia, West Africa. While in West Africa I led a team of volunteers working in the Children's Hospital. I also volunteered at a local orphanage. That's where I met my American husband...he was working onboard the Anastasis as a Deckhand and he also volunteered his time in the orphanage.I miss South Africa for the culture, the beaches, the great weather, the food, but mostly I miss my wonderful family and friends I left behind.I have lost contact with a lot of people over the last 5 years and I am hoping to be able to reconnect with a lot of people through myspace.com and make new contacts/friends.
