Stovepony Records

About Me

Stovepony Records is a joint effort between Mule Freedom and What's Cookin' - www.whatscookin.co.uk. Our first release was the fabulous What's Kickin' Vol 1 compilation. Our second was the fabulous Onions album The Old Straight Track. Our third - the fabulous What's Kickin' Vol 2 - came out in May 2007. Our fourth release was High 7 Moon 5, the new album by Martin Stephenson. "His finest record in years - *****" Rock&ReelOur current release is - surprise, surprise! - What's Kickin' Vol 3, out now!Stovepony Records are lovingly distributed by Cargo. We generally like hearing from most bands or artists, but love country rock, pub rock, garage rock, psych rock, bluegrass, folk, Mexican, etc. We really don't like laddish indie or anyone that counts Oasis as an influence, although the Roses maybe. Take a scout around our friends and if you have anything in common drop us a line or join our mailing list by emailing [email protected]
