Social Suicide

It has become a science for people in the fashion world to predict and actually create trends. This can also be said for the way social movements and ideals flow in and out through time. So we decided on the name Social Suicide not to try and disrupt this science or to be rebellious; but maybe to take a less defined path and let the individual who wears Social Suicide make their own interpretations mold the idea behind the designs. We have been told that Social Suicide, and the way we have played around with the word suicide in our designs, sounds very dark and domineering but it's all about the opposition of taking things that are so abstract seriously. Clothing should not be taken so seriously, and we feel that maybe its ok to commit "social suicide" if it means stepping out of the box for a little while and making your own interpretations about whats going on.
