Greetings All!!! So glad that you decided to take the time to check out my MySpace page. I want to use this page to introduce myself and my culture to you through some great music from some amazing musicians, dancers and singers.I'm a lawyer by trade, but after years of totally hating it, I decided to focus on what I love - MUSIC. I started managing Boukman Eksperyans - an awesome World Music band from Haiti. As a Haitian-American, I saw it as the perfect opportunity to learn about my culture and also be in the music scene. For four years I traveled abroad and toured almost every major city in the U.S. with my group. I was a road manager, booking agent, travel agent, bookkeeper, etc... The experience was crazysexycool. I loved the good and the bad that came with it. I always tell people try everything because you'll learn so much about yourself and others. I met some amazing people, went to all the cool World Music and Reggae festivals and just soaked life in! Later, I created a management company, SJM Media Consulting & Management, Inc. - a full service artist management and media consulting firm specializing in legal consulting, artist management, business organization, public relations, event planning, marketing and promotions. Â The company focuses on consulting individual artist (mostly World Music & Reggae) with their careers and entertainment companies with special projects and events. My company allows me to travel all over the world, listen to great music and be in the company of some extremely conscious and wonderful people.
