BIO: Hubert aka dj 1qlp first started listening Hardtekno, U.K Drum'N'Bass & a lot of French/U.S. Hip-Hop. He used to ear artists like Crystal distortion, the Chemical Brothers, Prodigy, Wiseguys, the Visionnaries. Curious & interessed by the construction of tracks, he learned beat making on hardware ( TR 707 - RM1X - ES 1 -TG77 - DR 660 - MC 303 ), then he practiced on computer with usb & midi contollers. Dj 1qlp began mix on decks with Jungle - Drum'N'Bass flavor, but he quickly turned into dark & agressive influences. He used plates from Bad Company, Renegade Hardware, Noisia, Cooh, Evol intent, Spor, the Sect Counterstrike. He played twice in Edinburgh, with Diverses Frequencies @ Jak'n & with Pedrigree Skum @ Kombustion.He also played in parties in Strasbourg @ Vision nocturne, in Lyon with Axiome @ Soyouz, in Montpellier @ Human Noize & in many other event. Dj 1qlp mixed on Radio M ( 88.3 FM ) with Raw k & Aknot ( members of Chaos Theory crew ) twice a month on friday night for years. They hosted FM with the "Fear The Bass radio show", a network broadcast filled of fresh tunes from dnb / neurofunk scene & info about parties. They invited some dj on air : Proktah / Spyz / Djis / Didja / Pzeko / Numan karma / Breaker Poker / Otiste / Auch / Unstatik / Lohen / Ben ben / Mickey / Serial breaker ( sorry for those forgotten ). Now dj 1qlp focuses on composing his proper tracks ... spread bassline distortion.<
