About Me

I am a rare breed. An odd cross between Hank Williams, Muddy Waters, Jerry Garcia, John Lennon, Greg House & Tom Morello. Time and time again I have gotten lost along the way, but I always manage to get back on the right path.(...)I have two kids, a daughter and a son. They make me want to be a better person. With my family is where I want and need to be.(...)I am a dreamer. It is not as great as it is cracked up to be, sometimes. I am happy with who I am. I wish that I had a little more motivation at times, but I get by.(...)Aside from my daughter, my thoughts flow in and out of baseball and music. Music being the main flow of thought. I began taking violin lessons in the first grade. The summer before my freshman year of high school, I taught myself to play guitar after buying my first Van Halen album. With the exception of a 6 month break, I have never looked back. I play at least 30 minutes a day, and after 15 years, I am still learning new things. I love it.(...)I began a love affair with the Grateful Dead my sophmore year and continue to be a "Deadhead". I am not ashamed to admit that I broke down and cried the day that Garcia left this world...but "the music never stopped". Thank God for that.(...)I am not what you would call a "religious" man, but I wear my Catholic label as a badge of pride. I may not go to mass as often as I should, but that doesn't diminish my pride.(...)Someday soon(hopefully very soon) there will be a home-spun album coming from me. When that get's done, I will find a way to post it. Music is to be shared.(...)Much love to anyone that takes the time to read all of this.
