Hi! I am Amanda, 31 years old and live in St. Albans, WV. I feel very blessed in life. I have much more then I ever deserve. Life hasn't been easy for me. I have had many ups and downs. But I always take what is givin to me and learn from it. I feel like I am a strong person and do all I can to be better. I am asst. manager for the Habitat for Humanity ReStore and enjoy helping people everyday. I love my job, not many people can truly say that, but I do and I love the people I work with even more. And I must say it does take a lot out of me, but it does give back so much more.
I am a very giving person. I love spending as much time as I can with the love of my life, Ken. We have been together almost 7 years, and I wouldn't change a minute! Ken is the one true reason why I open my eyes every morning and I am very thankful for him everyday. He will never know what he means to me. He is everything I never knew I always wanted in someone. My amazing man.
I have learned that life isn't always fair, but you have to take what is given to you. You lose people to death that mean the world to you. But you carry on. Memories of those people will help you make it through. I lost one of the most important people ever to walk into my life - my dad (not my real dad, but was more of a dad to me then mine ever tried to be) on January 16, 2008. If any of you know me, you know my parents divored when I was 4. My mom then met one of the most geniue people in the world - Larry. He was my childhood best friend, and one of the important people to my sister and mom. He was always amazing in everyway. He raised me. He changed my life and views on many things. He taught me about music -real music. He was a Rock star in my eyes. He also helped give me my middle sister, Ashley. I will never forget him or his love. Larry - you are finally getting your magic carpet ride.
I enjoy what can bring fun and laughter in my life. I am very open and it takes a lot to offened me in anyway. But trust me, if you have, you will know. I love to talk and enjoy a good conversation. Ken tells me all the time that I could out talk most anyone! LOL! But I have found if you get both my sisters and myself in a room together. WATCH OUT! We can't stop talking!
I enjoy spending time with my two sisters, Ashley and Brittany, plus Ken's daughter Lindy. They are all so very beautiful and growing up so fast ::sigh:: Both my sisters mean the world to me. We are all 3 so very different, but so much the same all at the same time. I have so loved watching each of them grow and change in so many ways. I also love to spend time with my grandparents and my mom. My mom has always showed me how to be a better person and try harder at everything I do. To love myself first and give all I can. She has taught me how to stay strong and never give up. She truly is one of the strongest people I know (other then my grandma) and one of my very best friends. My grandparents are two of the greatest people in the world. They have always been there for me no matter what in life. Both of them mean everything to me. I enjoy anytime I have to spend with my friends. Ken and I have met some great couples and made really great friends. The kind of friends you know that will always be there. I wish I could spend more time with my very best friend Brigite. She is like my sister, my soul mate and a very strong person. Anytime we get together is always fun. No matter what we are doing as long as we are together.
I love an ice cold Budweiser or even a AmberBock. Heck what am I saying, I love my beer! With Ken working for Budweiser, we are always trying a new craft beer or tasting one of Budweisers seasonal beers! The lastest and greatest new craft beer in the Charleston area is Magic Hat! You gotta try it! YUMMY! I have to admit I do love my beer.
I love late nights out Ken and our friends. We always seem to have a blast! But I have learned over the years that anytime I am with Ken I have an amazing time. He is always the life of the party no matter where you are out and about at. We both love to spend time at home. We love our house and we have some really great neighbors!

This song is for Ken. I love you more then anything. Thank you for everything! I wouldn't know how to begin my days or end my nights without you in my life.
