From the day I was born music has been a great part of my life. Since my father is an accordion player and an admirer of folk music as “gammeldans” the summers of my childhood was spent in gatherings around folk music. And what great summers that was. He and some of his brothers formed a band (Bröderna Ohlsson) and they toured around Sweden and surrounding countries. I never once reflected upon the fact that my brothers and sister and I had the great fortune to grow up with different kind of instruments in our house. Nothing strange about that, that’s just the way it was. Still my father is an active musician but not to that extent. Unfortunately I wasn’t blessed with a music talent as my two brothers. But I have many other talents instead…… My younger brother Martin’s main instrument is the bass, check out his site. Compared to none playing on my site is one of his works and I think its the most beautiful melody I..ve ever heard. Of course I..m objective..... My older brother is a great drummer but he is currently not so active. Sure, I play and I sing and I compose but it’s just for fun. I recently got me a piano that I’m trying to learn how to play. I couldn..t imagine a life without acoustic music in the house. My main intent of being on myspace was at first to keep up with my brother and his projects but then I discovered some friends of mine and the opportunity t o find some new great music. Soo I..m stuck. Currently I’m studying social work, sociology and socialpedagogy (it isn’t really translated in English) on Högskolan Väst. And that really has effected my life in a big way. I say sometimes that I..ve found my way home.
