Carnival of Flesh was formed in late 2002. by Dachaz and Damyan. That was crucial time for leaving unsuccessful bands (Heavy Metal Hamsters, Nediam Nori and Dark Desire) behind and to start thinking of something completely fresh.
Opposing to his previous guitar arrangements, Damyan had switched to keyboards and started composing in a different manner: a bit slower but with greater melody, by which making the new songs more complex.
It wasn't long before all the places in band were filled - Dragon provided the furious bass lines, Wild Child and Iced King were there with their screaming guitars, Matirio backed us up with her vocals and Matija came in on drums.
First major problems hit Carnival of Flesh soon after - the drummer was never on reherseals, therefore making them quite useless. Band members were losing confedence in everything, and so Matirio and Iced King left the bend after Matija was kicked out.
Nothing was happening for several months until Damyan grabbed us a drummer from local power/progressive band Acid Rain. With Marko's arrival, the reherseals came back to life.
By that time, Damyan was insane on the composing edge, which brought us plenty of very advanced and abstract songs.
During the major preparations for the first gig in April 2004., Marko split with us, as he had decided not to play drums any more.
Over a year have we tried to find a propper drummer, but none had both the will and the skills.
Even that no actual band activities has been on, Damyan kept composing songs which were longer and more complex by each new one (making us even harder to find a propper drummer).
In late 2005 we tried our way with Terrorizer on drums as well as with a set of new guitarists. That didn't do us any good since guitarists lacked interest in work, and Terrorizer, with all her energy and will, just didn't manage to play well.
Over the following year many people had entered the band and just left due to obvious lack of devotation. Thus we decided to screw it all and try it out as a worldwide project. That didn't work out as planned, either.
After almost a year of worthless attempts, we've decided to give it another shot with Terrorizer on drums, and our new guitarist Martin on the lead.
If this doesn't work, we'll try with spherical chicken in a vacuum.
