I could tell you about how down-to-earth I am or how I find my comfort in music or how much poetry is a passion of mine or how I love movies but rarely watch tv. . . but EVERYONE talks about that stuff, so I'll share something different with you!
. . . I guess, at this point in my life, I'm ready to shed my rose-tinted glasses to take a real look at the true beauty in the world around me. I want to relive the memories of my past that make me appreciate the innocence of youth and translate those moments to realtime. I remember pedaling as fast as I could on my bike just to hear the wind soar around me, leaping into a pile of raked leaves just to touch the brittle coarseness with every inch of my skin, slipping my feet into fresh cut grass just to watch each blade disappear underneath the horizon of my toes. I want to be drowned in the aroma of crisp rain as each drop dances upon the smile that lights up my face with joy. . . I want to grasp those segments of yesterday to transform them into something new.
