My name is Lady and I am 3 years old. I was a little over one year old when my parents found me abandoned at a gas station. I asked everyone there to help me and they were the only ones that did. It was very scary. They took me home to two kitties, another doggie and three acres of woods and fields. First they fed me and gave me a bath, then they took me to the vet who treated me for heartworms. I was afraid of my new dad at first and bit him a couple of times but he was patient and loved me anyway. After I learned that he would not hurt me I vowed to never bite another human again (especially him). Anyway, by the end of that winter I was healthy and put on lots of weight but not too much weight. I spend my days playing in the yard with my packmate Josie running and horsing around. I am the happiest dog in the world. Now my life is a box of milkbones.
