Purest Spiritual Pigs is a solo/collaborative, multi-media project, created by Helena Thompson. In 2007 Purest Spiritual Pigs released its first self-titled EP. The material on this debut EP was written, played, and recorded by Helena Thompson, with the exception of the guitars on Picking Myself Up, which were interpreted and played by Lenny Gonzalez (Chango Feo). The CD cover art includes a drawing by Umberto Crenca (mixed-media artist). This CD released under Clandestine Works Records (a label created to release this CD and depending on the search for an outside label) possibly other PSP CDs. Some of these bands were, XSX, Her Majesty The Baby, Stained Rug Theory, and DLD. In addition she worked as a solo artist under the names, One Human and Unconscious Pilot. In other projects she has worked with the following: GenKen (multi media artist), Eleanor Savage (Film/video artist, stage design),and Jade-Blue eclipse (Performance artist).
