♥ best class around 07' holds it down Other than the normal things about me, there's a side to me that most people don't know, not even my closest friends. This side just stays inside of me. But, lately I have been thinking a lot about the purpose of life. What is the point to be excited over something when the next thing you know...it's gone? What is the point in loving someone so much when all they are gonna end up doing is breaking your heart? What is the point of spilling your heart and devoting your life to someone when they could care less? What is the point in making friends when in the end they are just going to go to college somewhere else and you'll never hear from them again? I have been asking myself these questions so much lately and I just can not find an answer because where as I see no point in these things at all, I continue to do them. As much as I tell myself to stop, I just can't. What is the reason for that? Is there really a purpose to these things and is that purpose the reason I am continuously involuntarily doing them? I have worked for many years in order to be happy and I have done many things that I am not proud of, and I have even hurt the one person that meant more to me than anything, but it was all because I was trying to figure these things out. It was because I was unsure of my own self and what I wanted. Maybe I still don't know or maybe I do and all these things that I am doing is trying to point me in the right direction. I tend to live in the past a lot. Sometimes I just lay in my bed and think about it constantly and what I could have done to make my life now better. But, then I check back into reality and realize I can't change anything. Everything happens for a reason, so they say. But what are the reasons? When am I going to find out? Maybe I never will. All I know is that I am going to continue to work for what I want. I am not going to hurt the people I love anymore. All I know is that I have a dream to get out of this town and to be happy. I don't care how much money I have or what kind of car I drive...I just want to be happy and surrounded by people that I love and that love me in return. I'm tired of living this childish life. I'm going to grow up starting now and try to find myself and the answers. I'm prepared for the long journey ahead of me and I am prepared for heartbreak and failures but I am not going to let these things put me down anymore. I am stronger and ready to live my life.
