One important interest to me is my passion, love and talent for art. I use many mediums including, acrylic, pencil, watercolor, and charcoal. Scratchboard is really cool to. My favorite artist is H.R Giger. He's an absolute genius!!! Words intrigue me and pique my interest.
I have fun golfing, swimming, blading, working out, playing baseball, basketball, tennis, badminton and I love beach volley ball. I like to watch hockey, football, extreme sports, and boxing.
I absolutley appreciate and enjoy the outdoors.In the summer I live for camping, fishing, rafting and hiking. I look forward to winter to make snowmen, snow angels and to go skating. When I just want to relax I play video games, including WoW which I have a kick ass killer 60 Rogue in. When I am alone there is nothing I enjoy more then writing in my, what I like to call my free association style journals. It's my very own world. I write about anything and everything. My fears, desires, happiness, sadness, wants, questions and wonderings. Only that very special person will ever get to take a walk with me there and I can't wait because I am very much looking forward to sharing that very special part of me.

I'm selective when it comes to adding friends as I'm not here to accumulate a high number count. So I will add you for a reason :)Ideally what I am looking for is a true companion, my equal, my partner in crime, someone who molds with me. Who is looking to settle down and build a crazy life together.

Someone who knows its ok to be honest in times when mistakes happen, instead of trying to protect my feelings with sugar coated lies. I would rather be told the truth from the begining then find out I have been lied to in the end. I understand that truth hurts sometimes but it hurts to have lost trust in someone more.Learning from past experiences and past mistakes has given me the right path to take. I've learned not waste another day standing in the shadows of my mistakes.
And that means, not opening up the book of "Kristi's past boo boo's" and reading it off one sentence at a time. Over and over again. Learn to let sleeping dogs lie.
Someone who can let go of the past and know that not everyone is out for avengence when it comes to love. Who realizes it's not always rainbows and butterflies but compromise and sacrifice. Appreciation for the simple things as well as the finer things life has to offer.
Not narssisistic and self absorbed but confident and secure.
Someone who possess substance, quality and integrity.
Who knows how to have fun, laugh and just be able to take life casually, day by day.
Did I mention...must have a killer smile!
But I think most importantly someone who will keep my duck from falling over again.
On the flipside...
It's so easy to write about what makes you-you, but to define and understand your own flaws is another thing. I feel I have somewhat of a grasp on what I need to tweak and polish in my life and in love. To become a better person, a better friend and someone's better half. I sometimes I feel like I am like a child clad in the armor of an adult. Expecting someone to see through my disguise at anytime, revealing me as an emperor with no clothes. I'm realizing it's ok to feel vulnerable at times and that it's not a sign of weakness.
And sometimes it may seem like I expect unrealistic expectations, and by that appearing to be spoiled and selfish. I just know what I want and will not settle for anything less then what I know I derserve. I will offer the world to that special person. And I may sometimes distrust expressions of caring and love. I guess you tend to become a bit jaded when you have been dogged in the past. I think sometimes I'm inconsistant and extreme.
A walking paradox at times.Maybe even a catch 22. To maintain a closeness with me requires an understanding of respect and a willingness to endure a walk on a somewhat perilous wire. To help heal a heart that has been taken for granted one to many times.I love without measure, those who I will soon hate without reason.
I have come to the realization that sometimes you just need to let go of the past and knowing when to let go of old ghosts. It has taught ~me~ to let sleeping dogs lie and to walk away peacefully. By walking away it has unknowningly guided me the right direction. Things do happen for a reason and I truly believe in fate and have confidence in the guidance of where I will ultimately lie.Like I said things do happen for a reason. Doors open when others shut. Sometimes when you are not looking the one you have been dreaming of comes along and offers you the ulitimate chance at new beginning. My Fairy Tale will have a happy ending. When it's ~true~ it wouldnt become anything less then that. I'm missing a very important piece of my puzzle....a Knight. One who needs no armor or white horse. Just someone genuine and true.

Bird Talk, Cosmopolitan, Architectural Digest, In Style, Lou Lou, Flare, GQ (for the smokin' hot guys)Any true crime books. Cesar's Way by Cesar Millan is a cool book for anyone who has a dog. It shows you life through your dogs eyes and how to see life with a new perspective. Learning how to appreciate the simple things in day to day life and take it in instead of letting it pass you by. The poem "The Journey" describes it best.
