I wrote this poem when my sister-in-law passed away. She will always be one of my special heroes.
SOMEDAY, SOMETIME
I never thought I would have a day, to write the words I’m going to say. To my sister-in-law, mother, daughter, wife, sister, I miss you so much. I dream and cry just to feel your touch, just to hear your voice and to shake your hand to give you a hug and say, “what up†just to hear your laugh or to see your smile. I close my eyes and think for a while. I remember the memories all from the pass, but they come and go away to fast. I sometimes catch myself calling your name, but the response I get is not the same. Heartbreak, loneness, tears, from my eyes, I’m missing you Mari Robles…………….. I wrote no lies. Why? Why Mari? Why did you leave? The way you left, I just can’t believe. I’ll stop right there, I can’t write the rest… I couldn’t understand when I got the call, when my family told me you were died. I sat there I shock as I put the phone down; my heart broke to pieces and fell to the ground. All the family got together to comfort each other, because we felt the pain of losing a wife, sister, mother, daughter, sister-in-law. We hugged each other and cried for you Mari, in the situation what else could we do. We will be together someday my friend, because all of us too, will meet our end. It’s weird everyone because Mari’s not here. Just to see her one last time, I had to swallow my fear, the fear of her eyes opening up to me, than for her to say “I’m okay family and friends but now I’m free†When I knelt before her and saw her face was when I than realized she was in a better place. No lies, no sickness, no pain, no worries, no family, no Friend’s just memories. It’s okay every one to think about me. Just talk to her and ask her how she’s been? You have to believe that Mari up above is looking down on us and sending her love to everyone. So to everyone that I know …… I do love you’ll and cherish the memories you’ll put me through. To all my friends and family who still stand with me, just to keep me alive, I would set myself (FREE)!! But together will stand until we meet our end, remembering our love one Mari Robles. Your family and friends send you these lines; we will be together Someday, Sometime. We love you always and forever, you will be in our hearts and in our soul. We love you Mari Robles
