My Interests

Hi and welcome to my page. My name is Louis and I am 20 years of age. I coincedently share my birthday with the late great Buddy Rich which is an inspiration.

I embrace music for I feel it's the most powerful artistic way to express yourself.

Many of my friends will know that I love the engineering and technical side of music, for instance I would love to produce my own platinum album one day.

Ah hey it's a high goal but I'm gonna get there!

I also play in a band called In Darklight. We are a 4 piece Alternative/Experimental/Rock band from Andover, Hampshire. In Darklight was formed in late 2004, although all members have been gigging/writing/recording together under different names since 1998. In late 2005, In Darklight finished their first 6 track EP, entitled 'Foreground/Background EP'. In 2006, In Darklight recorded a 2 track single entitled 'Too Tired To Sleep', both of which are available to buy at gigs.

'What instrument do you play?' I hear you ask....simple....I'm the rhythm guy, the dude with the sticks.

My core passion lies with drumming, as you can see my heroes are all drummers.

I have recently joined the Portsmouth University Big Band, which I also provide the drums for! So I gig fairly often around the Portsmouth area with them...it's sooo much fun!

I'm also an athlete too but thats something to find out about huh?

I REALLY REALLY LOVE TO COLLECT VINYLS

What started as a harmless ting-ting-ta-ting-ting quickly developed into intence MULTI-PEDAL-ORCHESTRATIONS...I mean yeah this is Dave...we are working on developing the 1st star-shaped snare drum!
