Right now I'm learning how to sew baby slings as gifts for my prolific siblings even though I'm horrible at that kind of stuff, I'm trying to convert an old train depot into a coffee roastery, learning as I go along, and perfect all things domestic, which is where my heart lies. I'd really like to be living in Hawaii for at least two months out of the year, preferably the cold, bitter midwest months that seem like eons. If you have any ideas towards this end, I am all ears. I respect sustainability, hard work, beauty, friendship, light-heartedness, gratitude, humility, humor, and compassion. I try not to take myself too seriously, I prefer to laugh, and let go of that which binds.
