Welcome to "MY SPACE". Even though this is "my space" I want to share some pretty extraordinary people with you. But first a little about me...I was born and raised in Los Angeles. I'm a Cali girl, you know sunshine, warm weather, beach, etc...but...i just moved to Atlanta. This is a big shock to my system (weather I mean)...but i'm lovin it. Getting much love in the "A", so I just might be a Georgia Peach for a while y'all!2006 was an incredible year for me...a lot of traveling and many changes. I learned a lot, sacrificed a lot, and have definitely grown tremendously. 2007 has started to be one of the most exciting years in my life..already and it's not only the beginning.Well, I am Road Manager for one of the most talented female R&B artist to just light up the world...Megan Rochell. Last year we opened up for Chris Brown on the XBox 360 Tour. During the summer of '06 we shared the Cingular sponsored Historical Black College Tour with Shareefa and Bobby V. And already this year we traveled to Europe opening for 3 of the music industry's sanginest (that's a new word..lock it in) fools EVER! Brian McKnight, Boyz II Men and Joe. Look out for Megan's debut album on Island Def Jam Records. When I say can we go back to real R&B music with real singers...Megan is exactly what we need. If you don't know...trust me you will - real soon! Also, I've had the opportunity to be Road Manager for one of the biggest male R&B group ever...Boyz II Men and work as Production Coordinator on their album "Full Circle" which was released on Arista Records. Their new CD entitled "The Remedy" is out now on their own label "MSM"...their talent will never die.My background is music...I have worked in most facets of the recording industry from A&R (working under L.A. Reid, Babyface, Louil Silas, Jr., and Andre Harrell); legal (at Selverne, Mandelbaum & Mintz, LLP); management (Southpaw Entertainment under Qadree El-Amin and my own management company with choreographer Dave Scott); promotions, production and even as an artist (in a girl group called "TYTE" signed to Mercury Records in '96). By the way, I miss all my LaFace/Arista peeps. Additionally, I put together a very talented young male R&B group now known as Karma (formerly Final Four) along with my partners Dave Scott and Keisha. We landed them a recording contract with MCA (which subsequently closed down) through production companies Noontime and SpenCow, Inc. Check them out on [email protected]. Stay strong Karma...your time is coming real soon.If you are pursuing a career as a recording artist or in any part of the music industry...please don't get discouraged if it isn't happening right away. Just keep praying and putting God first, never stop developing your craft, be persistant and don't compromise your ethics or what you believe in to reach your goal. Your talent is a God-given gift and one day someone will take notice!
