I am an actor, real estate appraiser, and broker. Acting is my passion and field of choice. Since my first filmmaking experience in "Meet Joe Black" during the fall of 1997 I have worked in over sixty film projects. I joined Screen Actors Guild in 2001. I am a sitting member on the Boston SAG Council and a co-chair of an independent filmmaking committee set up to encourge indy filmmakers to work with union talent.
It is my belief Hollywood has had it's 100 year run and filmmaking is no longer strictly a Hollywood domain. The time has come to look at filmmaking as a national interest -NOW!!!
Unfortunately some folks in Hollywood see runaway production as any film that leaves California, but the rest of the U.S. filmmaking community, located throughout the entire country, realizes it is a problem when films leave the United States. Advances in camera and lighting technologies reduce the dependence on the necessity for studio filmming and makes location shoots more desirable.
New England is in a position to become a significant movie making region if we can get all aspects of the filmmaking community here working together toward that goal. We have locations from the most historic to the most modern; urban to rural; moutain top to desert; beach to forest; and just about anything you can think of. Support New England filmmaking by attending the various premieres and numerous film festivals showing through our region on virtually a year-round basis.
I maintain email lists for both production and talent to communicate New England filmmaking news. If you would like to be on it please email me with your interest to [email protected]. Please include your union status if any.
I liked Tool's "Aenima" as my myspace site song because I would like to use it in the opening credits of a screenplay I am developing, but I got a message that the artist deleted the song. If anyone reading this has the ear of a Tool member please let them know of my interest in using this song.

Showtime's "Brotherhood"
June 25, 2007 - I landed a small principal part on Showtime's "Brotherhood" series in episode 6 of the second season now shooting in Providence. I played an Irish driver involved in an auto accident with a Latino driver. We both jumped out of our cars and started sceaming blame at each other while Irish neighbors lined up behind me and Latino neighbors behind him. Jason Clarke, in his role as Tommy Caffee, watched the mayham from the porch of a house he was visiting for political purposes. Since I am a Providence born Irishman, and this is a program about Providence Irishman, I am now waiting for production to flesh my role out into a more significant series character. The Container
Some things get worn out, yet they still hold value, so we place them in nondescript boxes and shove them into a dim recess of concrete and steel, eventually obscured by time and neglect. Or so we think. In The Container, life puts an interesting twist on a chance meeting between two people, in this most unlikely of places.

Alec Thames is a prolific young writer who has never had the nerve to submit any of his forty books to a publishing company. Mired in misery and searching for his identity, he pledges to his dysfunctional family that he will commit suicide on his 25th birthday. His obsessive compulsive mother, karate kid emulating brother, shamelessly masturbating uncle and ambiguously gay father all do their best to make Alec believe that they support his decision to kill himself. However, after stumbling upon love and a new sense of self, Alec wants to back out of his pledge but fears family humiliation if he does not go through with his suicide promise.
"AN UZI AT THE ALAMO uses a very likeable lead character, absurd quick jokes and a very dysfunctional family atmosphere to create a sit-comesque feature film that will easily be enjoyed by a very wide base. The film is by far funnier and more original than the majority of popcorn machines that come out every weekend."
