My Interests

I'd like to meet:

THE 2007 BELLE VUE ACES, Sponsored by Channel M -Simon Stead, 7.41, is the Aces's number one this year. After another good progessive season last year he will be looking to push on and gain a better average and hopefully a place in the Speedway Grand Prix Series. The 24 year old is one of Britain's best young riders on the scene.Joe Screen, 6.83, the first rider to be signed up for 2007 and is the new team captain. After starting his career at the age of 16 at Belle Vue he moved on to Hull, Bradford and Eastbourne before arriving back at Kirkmanshulme Lane in 2003.Adam Skornicki, 5.54, signed for Belle Vue after leaving Oxford. The 31 year old Pole has good experience of British tracks. Owner and former rider, Chris Morton, was said to be delighted with how much Skornicki wanted to race for the club.Billy Forsberg, signed for the Aces at the beginning of July. Brought into the team to replace Ryan Fisher the 19 year old Swede has made a great start to his speedway career and was singled out by captain Joe Screen as someone who Belle Vue must sign. Forsberg comes from a family steeped in speedway with both his father and grandfather riding professionally.Antonio Lindback, 7.94, the Brazilian born Swedish international joined the Aces in June and replaced Finn Kaj Laukkanen. Signed on loan from parent club Poole Pirates the Rio Rocket started 2007 only riding in Poland and Sweden but felt he needed more racing to improve his performance. The Aces were quick to act when Lindback became available.Kevin Doolan, 4.20, is the fourth signing for 2007. He rode for Premier League side Kings Lynn in 06 but jumped at the chance of joining the Aces. The 26 year old Aussie comes in on a handy average and will give the team plenty of back up.James Wright, 4.03, was the second rider to be named in the Aces line up for next season. After a solid first season in the Elite League the Stockport youngster will be looking to really impress during 2007. Once again he will be 'doubling up' riding for Belle Vue Aces in the Elite League (the top league in Britain) and for Workington Comets in the Premier League (the second division.)Joel Parsons is the other double up rider for 2007. Either he or James Wright will ride at each match, Wright will probably start in the team but Parsons will be looking to get his chance in the side before long. For any information on Belle Vue Aces or speedway in general please send a message or leave a comment.I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
