They say good things come to those who wait.If that's the case then F.R.Us ( FELLOW REBELLIOUS UNDERDOG) time is now. His energy is crazy. There is a pack of rappers that could be the next to blow, and he's right up there with everybody else. Music was one of the few bright spots in F.R.U's early years, and he wrote poetry then performed at various open mic venues in the washington D.C metropolitan area.Already a fixture in the Prince George's County Maryland underground, the now 28 year old college dropout held down a job at a local grocery store as well as hustling whatever he could in the streets while dabbling in music on the side.He struggled through a series of failed record deals including def jam in 2004. But despite all his connections and prospects, none of the situations panned out. So he released an independent album titled "Until nature calls" which included a socio-political theme song and video " living again" ( thus creating a buzz locally). After recently surviving a near fatal car accident where he was rear ended by an 18 wheeler tractor trailer, F.R.U became extremely determined to be highly sucessful in the music industry. He turned into a slick talking, designer suit wearing entertainer with a swag like jay-z and a militant mind state like that of tupac's. He has quoting saying. " I felt rejuvenated you know something magical." The DMV representative is now fielding offers from various record companies. But until he makes a final decision on a label home, F.R.U is hard at work on his latest major label debut entitled " Holiday Blues". " All I can do is make the best music that I can but like my uncle says " Luck is the residue of skill."
