Esther Ainsworth (DJ e_s_t) has been working across disciplines of electronic music, sound and art since 2000.
Commencing her experience as a DJ for nightclubs in the North East, her experimentations have lead to a dedication to sound, radio and interactive technologies.
Esther Currently lives and works in London. Her most recent projects have included the Rider project in New York held in September 2006. The work formed a sonic documentation of the journey of the RIDER truck in its various locations around the city, including Chelsea, Harlem, and the New York Fashion week http://www.art-anon.com. Esther has also recently completed commissions for East Sussex Council, and has been working between London and Brighton based radio stations.
