Not Sexy is a 5 piece band based in Brussels. Early in 2005, Olivier, Glenn, Fabian, Massimo and Julien converged from various musical backgrounds, from rock to classical, through pop, jazz and electronica to work together on a new pop-rock project.
Drawing on the extensive stage and studio experience of its musicians, Not Sexy writes and performs its own original material and has started gigging throughout Belgium.
Not Sexy has now finalized the recording at Indie Air and Elevteros studios of its first 4- track CD produced by long term friend behind the scenes Bruno Elevteros. The music is a potent mixture of melodic rock and pop, with a dose of hard-rock and a pinch of electronica, driven by Glenns guitar fireworks and the powerful Fabian-Massimo rhythm section, with a unique flavour provided by Juliens electric violin and keyboards, and Oliviers distinct vocal personality.
Strongly influenced by Brit rock, the bands eclectic style draws inspiration from past and present rock legends to produce todays continental pop-rock music.
Not Sexy benefits from the active involvement of a bunch of talented friends, including their artistic and executive producers, stage director, photographer and graphic artist, stylist and sound engineer. Their dream? To enjoy and live their passion to the full, sharing their high-energy music and positive drive with their fast-growing audience.
