..My Name is Bukola A.K.A Lady Bossy, i am 18 years of age and i am a singer/songwriter which i also do a little bit of rapping and producing.
the fist time i ever sang a song was when i was in primary school aged 10, it was for the christmass parents show and my class had to do a 'top of the pops' show. from then on i loved music and still do! i started takin music seriously just before i turned 15 because people where telling i had talent and that i should work on it.
i wrote my first song called 'i want you out for good' when i started secondary school ( aged 11) which i performed at my schools concert which people didn't think i wrote it lol because to them it was really Good ( for all i know they where just saying coz i was a lil kid).
i wrote another song called 'i love you ' at the age of 13 which i then performed 2 years later at my secondary school for this singing competition called UK Unsigned which i did , but came second lol but d judges said that i was a realy good song writer and that it was good enough to be sold 2 celebs like Alicia Keys which made me happy and motivated me to carry on song writin.
i aint saying that i am really good at singing, believe me i need a lot of work on my diction and breathing but i hope one day, my voice will be at it's peak and i become a professional singer.
i am in a group now called BVS, name might change but thats what we are called for now. we write songs in different styles like R&B, gospel, soul, slw gams, pop, funk etc. on my myspace you will always find that the songs that i put on has me singing or rapping so have a listen. peace out people xxx
