Welcome to my profile, and thanks for taking a moment to come and get to know a little bit about me! My real name is Collin, but as a vocalist and songwriter I rep as Songboy. I have been a musician and a DJ now for what feels like ages.... Over the last few years I have been mainly working on projects with many other artists as an engineer/producer/beatmaker, but I had never really stepped forward to present my own vocal versions over the riddims I was creating..... While working on some pop tunes at the Runway Sound Studio with fellow soundman "Krinjah," he encouraged me to get back into writing and recording my own vocals as the result of some of our collaborative efforts. It was around this time (2006) when I started to put together the pieces that eventually came to make up "Songboy".
