MySpace Update for May 2007.Finally getting around to an update. It's been a very busy start of the year. I've mostly been focusing on a slate of feature film projects to be filmed in and around my home state of Louisiana. (a hotbed of entertainment activity these days!). If all goes according to plan, CADDO STREET PRODUCTIONS should be in pre-production for the first of 4 to 5 feature films by the end of the year! Caddo Street is co-owned by me and my producing partner, David Abbitt.
I will also be directing at least two of the projects in the first fund........................................................

..I also recently directed the multicam shoot for the Magic Castle Awards show. It was my second year to do it and as always it was great to work with folks like my friend, Jason Alexander as well as many other great stars that were there. This year Steve Martin was a presenter, so that was a great treat!I just got back from New Orleans where I worked on a project with the very cool actor John Goodman and a world renowned trainer, Mackie Shilstone. That was a lot of fun!........................................................

BOUT ME: Basically, I am a Director, Producer, Writer, Actor and executive producer/creator developer of TV and Film projects.In front of the camera..., I most recently was seen (ad naseum) in the Carls Jr. / Hardees commercials as the BURGER EATER in their new campaign for The return of the Pastrami Burger. They played that thing like crazy for months, so I was very grateful for that.
...............My Los Angeles based production company, LifeLike Entertainment Corp is up and running very busy! We are in development on a number of projects.And as mentioned, Caddo Street Productions is a new Feature Film and TV development and production company that me and my VP of development have formed for a special slate of feature film and TV projects. You should be hearing a lot more about that soon!Still waiting to hear word on the release date for the CBS show that I served as Producer on called Moochers! I'll keep you posted on that.My Variety Pilot, MAGIC CASTLE AFTER DARK premiered on A&E in December 2006! Thanks to everyone who tuned in and supported it! The show is in association with the World Famous MAGIC CASTLE in Hollywood! It was a blast to film and had one of the best crews anyone could hope to work for.
..MAYOR DOG premiered in November of 2006 and was a big success! Please watch for the shoe in reruns. I don't have dates yet, but my I'm sure it will be popping up from time to time.This TRUE one-hour special, hosted by the very droll and funny Ben Stein, follows the day in the life of Mayor Junion a real life Black lab that was ACTUALLY ELECTED as Mayor in a small Kentucky town! The mayor of the town is a real DOG!!This comedy TV special (Mayor Dog) follows the new dog mayor of Rabbit Hash, a black lab named JUNIOR as he and his West Wing like team mount a county-wide goodwill RV tour designed to bring awareness to animal and human causes around the area.If you want to see it again, or didn't catch it the first time around, right into Animal Planet and say you want to see "Mayor Dog"!Mayor Dog is a one hour special based on a movie that I Directed (and produced with partners Chris Carrington and Dave Thies) a couple of years ago.
The film is called RABBIT HASH: CENTER OF THE UNIVERSE and it is my feature film producing and directing debut that chronicles the true story of a small Kentucky town (Rabbit Hash) that got fed up with the corruption of Kentucky politics and actually elected a DOG named GOOFY as their mayor.The film which is a true documentary, but often plays more like a FAUX DOC in the vein of "Spinal Tap" or "Waiting for Guffman" (two of my favorites!f) but this film features all of the real town citizens, me as the intrepid interviewer and a special extended appearance by country music superstar, Wynonna Judd.Rabbit Hash is currently available on NETFLIX after a limited release in theaters and has done very well in rentals and festivals.
