About Me

Lisa Lepine ProMOTION Queen
My work is helping *creatives* move forward in their chosen careers.
I consult with musicians, visual artists, festivals, labels, managers, fashion creatives – anyone whose work involves the creative fields. I also work with individuals by phone when geography prevents us from connecting in person.
I have (and only want) one management client - Scott Fisher. You are listening to his latest record right now. [That album has made him the number 2 unsigned artist at Triple A radio nationally.]
ABOUT MY BUSINESS
My business is named Lisa Lepine Promotion but somewhere along the line a music critic gave me the nickname “Lisa Lepine Promotion Queen.” It rhymed, people liked it and it stuck.
Assuming that mantle, my royal duty has been to help creatives of all sorts “promote” themselves. I help artists gain clarity, vision and inspiration for the challenges before them. The greatest satisfaction I have is when clients synthesize and apply their new insights as they begin to experience real breakthroughs and make tangible progress towards their dreams.
MUSIC INDUSTY EXPERIENCE
I have worked in the entertainment/arts industry since 1987 and have been consulting since 1991.
I draw on my experiences as a manager, publicist, band booker, club booker, event producer, music journalist, stage manager, workshop presenter and record producer.
SAMPLE CLIENTS
A cross section sample of clients includes:
Scott Fisher, Tony Furtado, Dave Carter & Tracy Grammar, Green Linnet Records, Grammy NW Chapter, Thrillbilly, Music Millennium, The Bite of Oregon, The Green Room, Sam Adams, McMenamin's, NXNW, Portland Brewing Company, Daisychain Music Fair and Portland Community College Music Department.
CAREER CONSULTING BACKGROUND
In my current profession I draw on my former "career" as a "career counselor" at Mt. Hood Community College. I counseled hundreds of clients on how to find work that was meaningful and true to their calling.
In my current career as a creative industry consultant I have counseled hundreds of artists on how to pursue their musical calling while complementing the other aspects of their life - whether music is a sole means of support or a cherished avocation.
