What do you get when you mix old-school punk, rapid-fire vocals, up-beat melody, hard and heavy breakdowns, and a full brass section?
You get Cleveland's own Vending Machine Tragedy.
VMT concocted their own addictive mix of ska, gutter-punk, rock, and jazz music that is quickly making them a force to be reckoned with on the Cleveland music scene.
"We basically don't care," says Matt Witt, currently 1 of 5 of the original groups members. "We basically write what we want and play it, and apparantly people like it because they keep coming back to shows."
VMT took Cleveland by storm, winning rounds on Peabody's Battle of the bands, dominating shows with hardcore punk legend's like Murphy's Law and Cleveland's own Jack Knife Powerbomb's.
After a year of touring and playing local venues and bars and the addition of a new bassist, VMT has headed into the studio where they'll record their first full length album.
