I'm 39 and a geek -- I grew up in Hawaii, Florida, and Virginia (not in that order though; that's in order of importance in the formation of my present character). I live by Dave Barry's mantra: "You're only young once, but you can be immature all the time." I love being young-at-heart. I revel in my appreciation of sci-fi and fantasy, going to conventions, and just having a lot of fun in general. I've finally learned to really NOT sweat the small stuff. And that it's ALL small stuff. My greatest and favorite hobbies are following the Gators (all sports), the Miami Dolphins, Star Wars, Star Trek, Firefly, Lord of the Rings, reading, and watching movies.
I love just dating; I'm a very devout (although cafeteria-style) Catholic - I fully respect the right and the ability of a woman to be her own *self* ... it takes time to learn who she is. That's all for now, but I'm sure there'll be more.
