human, or something like it.

About Me

32 birthdays down. this happened behind my back, and certainly without my explicit consent. i like stuff, like bikes, books, beer and buffalo sauce. i also like to do stuff, such as move, shake, see, do, and make. rather informative, no? i've been known to wax wistful over the fact that i am not, in fact, a robot. i work, i work out, and somehow have fun doing both.

My Interests

electronic dance music, fitness, yoga, work, reading, science, astronomy, philosophy, movies, going out, movies, architecture, art, interesting conversation, laughing, being a crotchety old bastard in the nicest way possible. oh yes, and robots.

I'd like to meet:

folk that dig some of the same snazzy stuff i do but can show me some new tricks as well.

Music:

mostly electronic dance and the like, incl. drum and bass, techno, house, ambient and downtempo, also like jazz, funk, and generally, stuff that androids would love to listen to between the sheets

Movies:

apocalypse now, mother night, name of the rose, run lola run, dr strangelove, star wars, etc.

Television:

they show movies on this device right?

Books:

atlas shrugged, dune, catch 22, the fountainhead, vonnegut, the power of one, crime & punishment, 2 many to mention.

Heroes:

benjamin franklin, tom bombadil, robinson crusoe. scary that two of these are fictional, eh?

broad street blues

optimism in bas relief

i think i should make it clear in beginning that i do not like to sleep. though i recognize the necessity of sleep to continue efficient functioning as a human, i view 8 hrs. of sleep per day as an ef...
