Dikyi Ukyab

18 year old New York City native, Tsewang Dikyi Ukyab is a singer-songwriter just hoping to touch a few hearts with her music. Both Tibetan and Nepalese, she finds her heritage is a strong inspiration to her music and hopes to use it to help causes such as the movement for a greater independence in Tibet. Currently trying to pursue a career in political activism, she hopes that she can pull her music into full gear. Tsewang, most commonly known as Dikyi, just graduated high school and is starting college. She is currently finishing up work on her first album, being released in Nepal soon, "Silver Lining".
