About Me

travel layout powered by HOT FreeLayouts.com / MyHotCommentsI'm somewhat on the neurotic side, but in a fun kind of way. I have a pretty twisted sense of humor and I laugh very easily. I like my life simple... My passions, you ask? My dog, music, books, sports (college football – Cal Berkeley, NFL – SF 49’ers, NBA – LA Lakers, golf – Lefty and The Darkness), crossword puzzles, card games, trivia, good food, good wine, and random (guilty-pleasure type) TV shows. My life motto is “Consistently Inconsistent”. I love to play golf (although I like to play a mountain-version of the game: no stroke counting, occasional best ball placement, no shoes, and cold beers at each hole...and I like to search the water hazards for colored balls). I have a 3-year old Jack Russell-Chihuahua mix named Blazer, and he is my baby. He is the center of my world, and if you can't understand that, then I feel sorry for you... I need to find a local chapter of crossword-aholics anonymous, as I fear I may have a real problem. My life revolves around music and books. I love peanut butter and chocolate ice cream. Russell Peters makes me laugh my ass off. I am somewhat (okay...really) addicted to spider solitaire. I guess you could say that I'm kind of a dork, but I celebrate it! I am an expert at procrastination, so we can talk about that tomorrow. I am fiercely independent, and I like my life the way it is. I don't want to have to change for anyone, and I don't want anyone to have to change for me. I have learned a lot in my life, but the biggest lesson is that the lessons never stop coming...just when you think you're on top of your game and you've got it all figured out, someone or something will knock you on your ass and force you to re-evaluate how you've done things up until then...

My Interests

My dog, music, movies, books, coffee, crossword puzzles (I have an addiction), hanging out with cool people, swimming, hiking, road trips, tattoos, Cal Bears, LA Lakers, SF Giants, SF 49'ers, dance parties first thing in the morning, my friends, having fun, sleeping, fun t-shirts, Buddhism, playing with my camera, card games, trivial pursuit, Georgia O'Keefe, spell check, the perfect weekend, sarcasm, procrastination...

I am one of those "book" people! I can't walk by a book store without being drawn in. I've had to put myself on book restriction many times to preserve my bank account (and my back...because moving all those books around is no fun!)...

Heroes:

"I feel sorry for people who don't drink. When they wake up in the morning, that's as good as they're going to feel all day." -Frank Sinatra"You're not drunk if you can lie on the floor without holding on." -Dean Martin"Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink, I feel ashamed. Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn't drink this beer, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, "It is better that I drink this beer and let their dreams come true than be selfish and worry about my liver!"" -Jack Handy
