I was born in Shelby Co. Ky , but moved to Texas in my teens , so I guess you might say im a Ten-Texi-Ken and very proud of it .Why this name?
I did'nt, My Mama did that for me when I was born (just kidding).I dont work with a live band these days, except for a few songs ,I do all the instruments myself.A fine young picker named Randy Hess Helped Me.he does the back up.I do the rythm.He did steel and guitar,he's great and does session work in NashvilleDo you play live?
Mostly I play here in my studio.You cant make much money in the clubs here in Nashville, to many pickers, and besides I love doing this.How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Im finding its about the only way to get your music heard these days.Unless you've got a lucky star or a lot of that green stuff.The best dont always make it.At least on the web you can get heard.Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I dont think so.I really would'nt want to work on the road any more It's more fun to write and work here in my studio.but would'nt mind a writer's contract with a reputable publisherEquipment used:
