It's a Wonderful Life.... Enjoy it while you can

About Me

glitter-graphics.com I am sometimes a hard person to figure out. I get along with most people, that is, the ones who don't mess with my family. I am married to a man named David who I have known for most of my life. We met in church when we were 8 or 9 years old, but in 1977 his family moved to TX and we lost touch for 19 years. We have now been married almost 12 years. My children and grandchildren are my life, and if anyone hurts them, they will answer to me. My daughter Michelle is 25 and a very special young lady. She will always be my baby girl no matter how old she gets. My son Matthew is 19, and is the baby of the two. I let him get away with more than I probably should, but I look at it this way... If he is at home giving me a hard time and getting a bit mouthy, then that means he isn't out running the streets causing trouble, drinking or doing drugs. So if I have to listen to his mouth once in a while, then I don't mind. My grandson Zakarie is 8 and a very good boy. I was 35 when he was born and some people ask, "What did you think about becoming a grandma at 35?" My answer? "I am loving every minute of it!!" He is a good helper and he loves to go grocery shopping with me. My granddaughter BrieAnn is 5 and meaner than any boy ever meant to be! She tells it like it is whether you like it or not! lol She keeps us hoping when she is around. My kids/grandkids are what keeps me going. If it weren't for them I don't know where I would be. They keep me sane yet fill my life with "adventure" because I never know what road they are going down next. I think the hardest part of being a parent or grandparent is when they don't have to depend on you for everything anymore, because that means they are growing up. They really are my world, and I Love them all Very Much!!

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I have already met my Best Friend, Sherrie Veach. She was my second Mom and a very big part of my family as you can tell by the pictures. She went home to be with Jesus on September 30 2008, so I am making this tribute to her so that everyone can see just what she meant to me and my family. She will be missed so much by everyone who knew her, but she was a very special lady to me that has left an imprint of memories in my heart that I will carry with me forever. "We Love You Mom, Mrs. Wonka, Grandma Sherrie. You will forever be in our heart." Merry Christmas Mom... I Miss You so very much
