i dont have a set method to how i record. ill make my engineering decisions based on how you want to work, not make you work around me. if you want to record live thats fine. if you want to track separately, play to a metronome, etc thats fine too. whatever youre more comfortable doing. thats what gives life and personality to recordings. and thats what makes all of my recordings sound pretty different from each other.
im not gonna fuck around. ill record your band. and ill make your band sound the way your band sounds. that means if your band is great, your recording will be great. if your band sucks, your recording will suck, sorry. i promise im not a dick, im just being honest. im pretty easy to work with actually.
love,
jeff
