Kult ov Bela
Every FIRST and THIRD Saturday at Waterworks,
check out a little gig i've got called NOSTALGIK...an alterna80s sorta thing...
I spin alternative and underground tunes from the 80s including punk, industrial, gothic
and even some hip hop and metal depending on my mood and
the crowd. Come on out any first or third Saturday at "the Werks!"
also alive but do not necessarily have to be kickin'...though it helps.
Several bands and the majority are of a high quality.
(Recently: Siouxsie/Creatures, Mastadon, Caustic, Killing Joke, Pneumatic Detach, Steroid Maximus, Junior Boys, the Clash, Coil, Ministry, backandtotheleft, pow[d]er pussy, Slade, the Damned, Otto Von Schirach, De La Soul and of course DOVE )
multiple and a high percentage are rip-offs of the Big Lebowski or All About Eve.
I've actually been able to cut back lately...sort of.
They cancelled Arrested Development, and then there's the Simpsons, Scrubs, Boston Legal, Best Week Ever once in a while and last but not least West Wing and The Daily Show (the two I HAVE to watch).
Only recently have had the time to read something not work or school related:
Currently reading The Miracle of Castel di Sangro, and have recently read America: The Book, and "England's Hidden Reverse" (for school, again, I hope), then there was American Scream and The Devil's Dictionary.
