La.Mia.Bocca is the first music project to form a continual crossover between modern and classical styles by merging electronic music with classical arias. The CD – The Journey - is a unique and contemporary view to the future of popular music – a sensational mixture of many different genres create a musical universe with no boundaries - breathtaking and full of passion.
La.Mia.Bocca reinterpret arias from Puccini’s “Tosca” and “Madame Butterfly” from Catalani’s “La Wally” and Delibes’ “Lakme”. The sound is powerful and emotional, orchestral and minimal, relaxing and dramatic. Indian Tablas and Sitars meet electro beats – minimalistic sequencers merge with japanese Taiko drums, hypnotic bassslines form the basis for the Warsaw Symphonic Orchestra and William Blake’s “Garden of Love” is related to heavenly choirs - and above all floats the angelic voice of Olivia Safe.

Wolfgang Filz studied orchestral percussion at the Robert Schumann Conservatory in Düsseldorf and at the University of Music in Cologne.
