AIDSplus

AIDSplus started in the summer of 2006 in the back room of club 1123 in Evansville, IN, with a bassist, guitarist, and drummer, all desperately seeking someone to take the reigns of lead singer. Through friends and a few connections Dan was introduced to Zach, James, and Alan and things started to take form. A few rough songs were made and rushed for a five song demo only to be known as "Stay Positive Demo". Originally, the songs created were all in fun and had a comical feel. After awhile due to complications Alan resigned his position as axe handler and AIDSplus introduced another zach into the band. Recently AIDSplus has buckled down and started capturing the deep and dark of the unseen world to create a hardcore-punk sound that few rarely recognize in the local scene. Fast, Aggressive, and Enlightening, the music being produced today leans towards the roots of the movement with such influence as Slapshot, Negative Approach, and Bad Brains, while still acknowledging the more recent influences like Integrity, Trial, and All Out War.
