Chernobyl Ballet Company is a new band that is emerging onto the Austin music scene at a time when it seems that there is a vacume for bands who are making authentic contribution to be recongnized. The members of Chernobyl Ballet Co. have lived here in Austin for over ten years each and have been influenced by hometown acts like Breedlove, Ian More, The Ugly Americans, and The Billy White Trio, who all forged new and brilliant sounds into the Austin music scene. Now comming together in 2005 Chernobyl Ballet Company seekes to embarce Austin with all the love and vitality that has blesssed Austin music for so many years. Austin really is a magical place for muisc and Chernobly Ballet Company is a band that will continue on in the Austin traditioin of creating original and inspiring music that sets Austin apart from the rest of the world.
