About Me

A long and unpredictable path has lead me to where I am today as a professional film and TV composer in Los Angeles, CA. I grew up in Norway and was constantly surrounded by music playing piano, conducting choirs, singing in a wide range of bands and studying music education at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo. Then my husband and I moved to Los Angeles where I attended the USC Scoring for Motion Pictures and Television Program. Since my graduation in 2005 I've had the privilege of working with some tremendously talented directors and producers scoring a number of features, short films and commercials. I currently work as a freelance composer for HUM, a composer house in Santa Monica focusing on writing music for commercials. As a side job I also work as a musician and singer talent scout for Cirque du Soleil.
