Hello friends my name is Elvis In 1945 when I was ten years old I one a youth talent contest singing a song by the name of old shep at the mississippi-Alabama fair and dairy show,held in Tupelo.In 1948 I moved with my family to Memphis.In 1953 I graduated from Memphis's Humes High school. My life started to take a turn in 1954 when Sam Phillips needed a singer to record a demo called without you man i'll tell you forsure when I got that call I ran so fast when I got there I was panting and completly out of breath And then came 56 whitch changed my life forever! 56 was out of this world I was now a singer and and actor.Over time I became the leading force of Rock'n'Roll revolution.I signed with RCA in 1956 and received my first gold record for HEARTBRAKE HOTEL.I recived the life time achievemnt award at the age of 36.I am the only person so far to be inducted in to the Rock'N'Roll,Country and Gosspel hall of fame to date. I died in Memphis in my home graceland on August 16,1977.On August 18 I was buried at Forest Hill Cemetry,Memphis.On October 1977 myself and my mother were moved back home to Graceland I may be out of sight but i'm shineing down on my wonderful family and friends until we meet in a much better place. alt="Myspace Backgrounds" border=0 href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"
