Sulaiman Mausi, Vice President of The Right Productions, has been promoting events for over 10 years. A graduate of North Carolina Central University in 1997, he promoted a variety of events. Upon returning to Detroit in 1998, Sulaiman has worked on numerous projects with The Right Productions, including production assistant at MGM Detroit Casino, The Detroit Music Festivals in both 2001 and 2002, and the Houston Music Festival in 2002. While working at the Detroit Historical Society as the Marketing Manager, Sulaiman created an exhibit called, "Techno: Detroit's Gift to the World", which was the first of its kind. The opening of this exhibit showcased his wide range of abilities, bringing the subject of Techno and its Detroit roots to the Detroit Historical Museum.Most recently Sulaiman was instrumental in the the re-opening of one of Detroit's jewels, the Fine Arts Theater on Woodward Avenue, whose doors had been closed for more than 20 years and where several Super Bowl XL events were held in early 2006, along with a host of perfomances by several artists throughout year such as Natalie Cole, Kelis, and Floetry. In addition, Sulaiman has been a part of The Right Productions management team that has operated and managed the Chene Park Amphitheater since June 2004, and have brought to Detroit a summer of exciting concerts and events, from such artist as Chaka Khan, India.Arie, Will Downing, Ice Cube, A Tribe Called Quest and many others.
