About Me

Caffeine addict. Scrabble champion. Country bumpkin/faux-london. The world's most prolific consumer of Post-it notes. I like to make lists and have everything in order or in a pattern. I like symmetry. I get little electirc shocks when I get out of cars. I love classical music, play the piano, have never seen a Star Wars film and I can't use Ebay. Slightly techno-phobic. I don't like TV or mobile phones at the dinner table. I feel so guilty when I step on a snail. I love odd numbers (especially prime numbers).I can cook but I always burn myself in the process (same with ironing). I don't have the taste bud that apparently lets one know when something is too sweet. My mother blames it on the crazy woman next door who used to ply me with sweets and chocolate behind her back. I am Welsh. I am very particular over the mug I drink tea and coffee out of, there is a fine list of specifications (I love tea, of course).I like good conversation, looking at old photographs, punctuation and grammar, Christmas day, white chocolate, trying to imagine what animal a person looks like when they talk to me, cuddles, the smell of birthday candles just after they've been blown out, danish pastries, the smell of antiques shops, popping the cork on a bottle of champagne, white underwear, markets, the feeling of sleeping in my own bed, remembering things, writing things down, nettle tea, yoghurt coated raisins, the sound of 8 cellos playing simultaneously, crisp white cotton bed linen, strawberries drenched in chocolate, shiny things, rain storms, passionate people, meeting my friends' mothers, finding something that had been lost for ages. r !
