I am a single 36 yr old male living in northwestern Mpls.
I currently don't attend church but I am not apposed to attending with someone else although I do try live my life by the Golden Rule.
In June of 2006 I became an Uncle for the very first time to an active boy.
I own a townhouse where I rent out the upper half to a young couple that has 2 young girls.
I currently work for Ameriprise Financial in their Document Operations Dept. and am working toward becoming a Financial Advisor in the next 2-3 yrs.
I completed an 11 month Financial Planning Specialist program in July which I took on my own and am currently working on my own to gain the certifications that I need to become a Financial Advisor.
I strongly agree with the way one of Ameriprise Financial's GVPs defines a Financial Advisor and she says they must have the heart of a social worker and the mind of a Capitalist.
I also beleive in Suze Ormans way of thinking of "People first, then money, then things" but so many people out there put things and money ahead of others which money and things come and go but the people are always constant.
I volunteer to help others out as much as I can which right now I am a Pen Pal for a third grade student with IDDS, assisting others in my department as much as I can with their computer applications, a judge for various student's essays, and hopefully later on in the school year get to become an E Mentor again.
As you can tell I do beleive in self improvement and helping others improve themselves as well.
I am hoping to get back into bowling, bicylcing and downhill skiing again which I have gotten away from with my weird working schedules.
Towards the end of my time working for Wells Fargo Northtown, I was involved in an E Commerce business that I had to give up due to my first tenant that took me for 5K before she and her kids were evicted by a court order. While going through the eviction process I did lose my job with Wells Fargo, lost my business, and almost lost my townhouse.
I am here to make friends both online and offline also if a loving relationship comes out of this great.
