About Me

Halo there! My name's Rrrrrronald, I'm Dutch (and an adopted Scot)! In my voetbal playing days I was an attacking midfielder, or sometimes even a winger (When Marc or Bolo let me). I was born in Holland in a small town called Hoooooorn, with my twin brother Frank (he's the evil one, by the way.) We played together all the way through the Ajax academy, and into the first team. Three years after we won the Champions League in '95 (*wipes medal*), we moved across the continent to FC Barcelona, where we played in a squad FULL of Dutch people (me, Frank, Marc, Phil, Paddy Kluivert, Bolo for a bit...). That was fun :-). In 2001 I felt I needed a bigger and better challenge (that and I was gettin a wee bit agedly impaired) so I got my big money move to Rangers FC in bonnie Scotland. Frank went to Galatasary in Turkey for a bit, but he couldn't bare to be away from me so he moved to Scotland. But then I left Rangers and went to Qatar... and then Frank follwed me again! I played quite a few times for Holland, but I was never the regular skipper- Frank got that (Grrr...). Right now, I'm retired and back here in good old the Netherlands, liking my shhhigar an a pancake ;-)By the way, check out one of the greatest goals in dutch, if not football history (although I'm sure you've already seen it!). Kudos to you, Dennis.
