Born and raised in New Albany, MS, Michele began her ministry at age 12. She was immediately put to work singing solos and received vocal training at church and later in high school, where she briefly studied abroad in England, France and Normandy. She later earned her B.A. degree in Humanities from MSU, with emphasis in French. While attending college, Michele was a member of several choirs,including the Mississippi State University Choir and has shared the stage with artists such as Dr. Bobby Jones, the late Rev. James Moore, the Mississippi Mass Choir and many others. Michele is currently a member of the Peter's Rock Temple C.O.G.I.C. and its award-winning Mass Choir, and has written for it's album, "Standing In The Need". "Music is my love--since God is in my music, He speaks through it. I'm currently working on an album and will let everyone know when it's released", she says."When my father became ill, God gave me a song to sing to him while in the hospital. Shortly after his passing, God gave me more songs to write to encourage others who are dealing with every pain and issue, including this economic epidemic that has discouraged so many, including Christians." The album, "Divine Favor", Michele's debut,is composed of four songs written/produced by Michele and engineered and mixed by musician, producer, engineer and songwriter, Cassie Bonner(known for his work w/The Bonner Brothers, Babyface, Michael Jackson, Jessie Powell, etc...). It was co-produced by her cousin, bass/lead guitarist, Raynon Finley.In addition, to music, Michele loves working with people w/disabilities, involved in voc. rehab., and has served as a volunteer coach for the 2007 & 2008 Special Olympics. http://cdbaby.com/cd/michelemundy
