Music is the only thing thats makes sense anymore... play it loud enough and it blocks out the demon

About Me

I prefer staying home and chilling to going out to parties and such. I have a somewhat eclectic taste in music. I love a good book, and I'm usually in the middle of something like 3 books. I work at Starbucks, but I don't particularly care for the taste or smell of coffee. My favorite flower is the lily. I prefer cats to dogs pretty much any day of the week. I have a terrible fear of spiders and failure. I can't kill bugs...something about the crunch sound just doesn't work for me. I love thunderstorms. I can watch lightning all day long. I would love to travel all the time. I adore the water; swimming and scuba diving to be more specific. I know the true meaning of irony: I live pretty much in the middle of orange groves, and I'm allergic to orange blossoms. Sucks really, but you just have to laugh and move on. I just recently got married and 4 days later he left for Iraq. I'm very proud of him, and I love him very much, I just wish he was home.
I'm very mathematically and scientifically minded. This means I have to have proof of pretty much everything. This annoys quite a few people I know. I'm pretty sure I'm double majoring in Environmental Engineering and Civil Engineering. The environmental is a definate. I'm a bit of a tree hugger, in fact I've been called a hippie on many occasions. I want to save the world if at all possible. Everybody should try at least a little to help. I think I should been around in the 60s and 70s when having an opinion mattered. I have my own opinions and though I may not voice them when I first meet you, once you get me started, it's on. When I get done with school I want to live in Italy. It's been one of the only constant goals of mine for the past few years. If not there then somewhere in Europe. Might be insane, but it works for me so it'll have to do. Anything else you want to know just message me and I might get back to you.
"If there is love, there is hope to have real families, real brotherhood, real equanimity, real peace. If the love within your mind is lost, if you continue to see other beings as enemies, then no matter how much knowledge or education you have, no matter how much material progress is made, only suffering and confusion will ensue." -Dalai Lama I got my MySpace Layout at HerMyspaceLayouts.com.
