Delta Breeze, is a two man band, comprised of suzy and joe. In their own right they are revolutionists. creating a whole new genre and scene of their own. their roots and back round stories is one of spectacle too. suzy got into playing the snare because he was in a marching band at his school in new mexico and was very active in it. joe picked up the guitar because his mother wanted him to play one day for his church choir. joe and suzy their whole lifes had been raised in pentecostal churches, but in two whole diffrent entire staes. while suzy was playing his snare in new mexico joe was playing his guitar in california(yeah babY!). one day suzys parents decided to pack up their stuff and move to northern california, where eventually joe and suzy would meet at a nearby christian private school runned by the pentecostal church joe had attended his whole life. the year was 2002, and joe was introduced to a man named jimmi hendrix. it was his uncles old 45.(record) and picked it up in his garage. his uncle eventually bought him a number of different hendrix greatest albums and joe became addicted. fascinated by hendrix's natural soul he brought into his rocky blues, he soon too wanted to play like hendrix. while joe had gone through diffrent line ups for different bands suzy always was joes best friend. one day when joe had a pretty major show in hometown stockton at the empire theatre, joes former band mates for different reasons decided they didnt want to play. joe though being the stubborn man he is and loyal one said the band would not cancel being that it was the band who put the show together. so at the last minute joe was about to perform by himself, but being the best friend that suzy is said no way will you go up alone, and even though he didnt know any of the songs suzy said, ill play the tamberine and we'll do our thing. and the rest is history. theyve been a band since. their style is one all on its own. joe being the huge hendrix fan he is he automatically inherited a garage bluesy sound to his mechanics of playing the guitar but also has alot of punk in it too while also being influenced by the clash all the way to the hives, and the band gets alot of their country sound mostly due to the fact that suzy is from new mexico. its a unique and intruiging band, one that im sure you'll either love or hate.
