Listen to them - the children of the night. What music they make!

About Me

I was born a summer baby so I have a special fondness for bright blue skies and warm breezes. However, I also enjoy the cloudy overcast days with showers thrown in the mix. I love the rain. Good thing I live in Oregon. If I could, I would live on the beach in Northern Oregon and curl my toes in the sand every day, rain or shine. I could watch the ocean for hours and enjoy hunting for agates along the sands. Mud. One word that encompasses another love. And Quads... thats an essential factor to the mud. I have this goal these days, to get caught up on movies. Old movies mainly, that I've never seen. Doesn't matter if they are good or bad, I just want to watch them. I bought a book on a compilation of movies that came out before 1990. I intend to cross out every movie title in that book. Anyone want to join me in my little forray into tinseltown? So thats a little about me. If you want to know any more I guess you will have to drop me a line. Oh, by the way, don't just try to add me without messaging me first. I'll automatically delete you out of principle.

My Interests

I love to read and put puzzles together in my quiet time. I have a love for the outdoors as well and I enjoy camping and spending the day at the beach. I'm talking good old Oregon Coast, none of that sun filled beach stuffs. I also like riding quads or going 4-wheeling in trucks. Its almost a hobby of mine to drool over any 4x4 with a bed and a lift. I want to start getting into backpacking but am waiting til I can get the equipment before I really get into it....... On another note, I'm kinda sorta a gamer. (some would call me a geek, more specifically a Halo geek) Mainly FPS games like Halo, Doom, Black, Half-life, and COD. I prefer xbox due to its Halo exclusiveness but most consoles do the trick. If you want to play, hit me up.

I'd like to meet:

Mostly Richard B. Riddick. I would also like to meet Audrey Hepburn, Cary Grant, Katherine Hepburn, Gregory Peck, Danny Kaye, Kiera Knightly, Sara Douglass, Margaret Atwood, my Nana.

Movies:

Movies.... yes movies are good. I don't watch them a lot but I enjoy sitting down to a good movie all the same. My fave is Anne of Green Gables. If your male and you have any idea what I am talking about I think I'll kiss you. I like action movies, classics, adventure, si-fi, some comedy and the good ol chick flick. And definitely Disney. An Affair to Remember Anne of Green Gables Arsenic and Old Lace Behind Enemy Lines Chronicles of Riddick Emperors New Groove Finding Nemo How to Make an American Quilt Life as a House Memoirs of a Geisha Pitch Black Practical Magic Pretty Woman Pride and Prejudice Robin Hood Roman Holiday Sleepless in Seattle

Television:

I don't typically watch tv and much prefer a good book, or even a mediocre book, to curl up with. However, I find that I'm hooked on Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice.

Books:

I enjoy reading a lot, and usually I read fantasy novels but sometimes Sci-Fi, a bit of the classics or a good sleazy romance.

Elephant Song by Wilbur Smith Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden The Bride by Julie Garwood The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood The Wayfarer Redemption Series by Sara Douglass Where the Heart Is by Billie Letts

Heroes:

Richard B. Riddick

Oceanside memories

I sit high atop my rock staring out at sea. For once the distance from the ground doesn't frighten me though I sit on the edge. The sky is unusually clear and I can see for miles across the waves. The...
